After the party...

First journal for Kat eye view "Find Your Eye" photo course.  Why I love photography?
It started about 28  years ago with the birth of my first child.  I didn't want to miss a thing... so photography was a way of DOCUMENTING my life.  I have three kids, the youngest is 24 and all are out of the house:(    So, my LOVE and PASSION for photography went into a different direction.  It was more about creating something that makes me HAPPY, to stop and take notice, to capture an image, capture the beauty, and capture a moment in time that would normally go unnoticed by others.  I love this shot because I found a BEAUTIFUL MESS after the guests had gone home.

this little piggy...

at the Santa Barbara County Fair.  I love to go just to see the baby piggies.  Ted has to drag me away so that others can take a peek also.  Mom had 16 in the litter,  laid down on 6 of them, now there are 10.

on the top photo, you can see her neck is swollen...  Doctors finally said either strep or staph infection in the lymph nodes was the cause of her fever.

Clint telling Lucy a bedtime story... I think she liked it!  Saying goodnight was always hard... we wanted to stay all night.

alaska dogs

We took a walk around the dog park... they all liked to swim, chase balls and carry sticks... one of the dogs even smiled for us!

A kaleidoscope of color... just a bit of the color around the hospital...  also Arek and Ashleys sleeping quarters for two weeks.
