Attitude Adjustment
Get silly, sassy, sexy... whatever is needed to lighten the mood! The rest of my outfit is a scrub top, scrub pants rolled up, socks and tennis shoes tossed off to the right... quick, click, run off to work!
wrapped with love
I haven't wrapped a thing... found a little Santa bag, placed the bow and heart on top and called it good. I seem to work best under pressure, saving everything for the last minute.

the decorated tree
Red and blue berries beautifully decorated this tree just in time for Christmas. I love to take a walk in the neighborhood, I always find something that I haven't noticed before.
shaping up
do you ever find a shape and find that it reminds you of something totally different? Queen Anne's Lace... I see it growing everywhere in the summer and they always remind me of summer snowflakes. So to winterize this I added a black and white treatment and a frosty texture. What kind of mysteries does nature have in store for you?

it's a sign...JOY
words and phrases are everywhere. we are inundated every day with messages. be aware of the words you take in each day. seek out the affirmations, answers or reminders that are out there looking for you today!
reflecting on the season
today I was looking for mirrors, glass and metallic surfaces for an unexpected perspective and a little seasonal magic.

express yourself...
Today's prompt was to check in with ourselves. Turning into our own body and mind is a simple emotional gauging tool we often overlook. Take a few minutes to be still and to feel. How are you today? What is your body saying? How about your mind? Your heart? Take it all in... grab your camera and interpret those feelings in a totally different way. Well, this time of year I've been making a list and checking it twice... I'm feeling a little like Santa without the sleigh.

every little thing
begin this day with eyes wide open to the tiny wonders that are constantly swirling all around you.
Today's prompt was to find some small delight today. I liked these tiny little stars that jingle with the slightest of breeze.

the magic remedy

the Menorah- Dec 1, 2010
Last night was the first night of Hanukkah. Although I don't celebrate, I do like to light the candles for each of the eight nights. We light these candles for the miracles and wonders, for the redemption and the battles that you made for our forefathers in those days at this season, through your holy priests. blessed are you, Lord our God, King of the universe, who has sacrificed us by His commandments, and has commanded us to kindle the lights of Hanukkah.
Re-framing the season
A symbol of looking at things a little differently, I used a literal frame for my image today. Holiday JOY to all.

holding on to gratitude
this is the first day of picture holidays with Tracey Clark. It's December 1st which means the holiday season is officially upon us. Today's prompt was to focus on all the things we have to be grateful for and capture it in a photograph. I am grateful that in four months I will be a Grandma!!! Thank you Ashley and Arek.

I love all the color at the farmers market. Everything is so fresh and yummy. Marigolds... tomatoes....leeks and persimmons.
pumpkins on the porch
I didn't get around to carving Jack-o-lanterns this year, so I'll enjoy these pumpkins through Thanksgiving. Maybe I will carve some welcoming luminaries?
